2019 Celebrity Game Night

Recently Willmeng was a presenting sponsor of the second-annual Brenda & Kurt Warner’s Celebrity Game Night to support Treasure House, a community in Glendale founded by the Warners to provide a home for young adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. The most unique fundraising event of the year was also incredibly successful, as celebrities and hundreds of attendees converged upon The Van Buren on Feb. 15 to net more than $330,000 for charity.

The event also honored Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald, who singlehandedly helped raise more than $60,000 himself through his own generosity and gave a significant donation of his own as well. Fitzgerald was presented with a Treasure House key, hand-welded by Brenda Warner herself, a replica of which will also be displayed in the Treasure House entryway. And Kurt Warner made the night of dozens of attendees by providing an opportunity to catch a Hall of Fame football thrown by the former quarterback himself — which raised more than $40,000 while providing some of the night’s funniest moments.

The list of celebrities and athletes in attendance included Melissa Peterman, famed actress; Frank Caliendo, comedian; Torey Lovullo, Arizona Diamondbacks Manager; Archie Bradley, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher; Kliff Kingsbury, Arizona Cardinals Head Coach; David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals running back and many more.

Treasure House’s residents themselves were a big part of the program, receiving a standing ovation when they were introduced during the program and greeting attendees and making the rounds the entire night.
