ABOUT

Committed to improving the communities in which we live, work, and play, Willmeng Construction’s involvement with Fighter Country Foundation & Partnership, a nonprofit organization supporting families and programs no longer receiving funds at Luke Air Force Base, has grown over the years to include various sponsorships and construction projects.

Following the successful fire station renovation at Luke Air Force Base, which was featured on CBS5 in 2017, Willmeng completed this renovation project on the base in June and later celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

While initially hired to provide the flight line crew with a new ramada, Willmeng saw there was a greater need for improvements due to an abundance of issues ranging from drywall deficiencies to electrical shortages to a leaking roof. Willmeng teamed up with multiple subcontractors including Three Phase Electric, Adobe Drywall, Star Roofing, and True View Glass, which were able to donate or discount much of the work.

“These companies participated because they cared about who we were helping. It’s not just about the jobs and the money, we really care about the work that we do,” Thomas Fyffe said.
