NAU North Valley Campus

The NAU North Valley Campus project entailed improvement of the 66,662 SF multi-tenant office space into a cohesive satellite collegiate facility. The renovation included a welcoming lobby with soaring ceiling heights, innovative classrooms, observation rooms, spacious multi-use rooms, a computer lab, faculty office space, and support areas such as copy, server/data, and storage rooms. Among the amenities are a café, a kitchen, and two relaxing courtyards.

This project was a success with our on-time delivery allowing only 13 weeks to complete the entire build out, while maintaining our typical high-quality of construction. The building was delivered on-time on a Friday; the tenant moved in over the weekend; and classes began that Monday. A full interior remodel to an existing multi-tenant space with a compressed schedule requires the involvement of all parties and stakeholders to overcome many challenges. Whether it was to bring the existing fire alarm and mechanical systems up to code or to modify fire lanes and electrical above the ceiling, everyone worked through non-compliant conditions with city officials, recognizing the imperative to deliver a safe building.
