Upgrade, Inc. At Renaissance Square

In April 2017, Willmeng began a tenant improvement project that transformed Upgrade Inc’s offices at Renaissance Square in downtown Phoenix. The project included a complete build out of floors nine and ten of Building One at 2 N. Central Ave.

The 38,780-square-foot project, which was completed in August, resulted in modern, creative and playful work spaces. Natural materials were used to create an organic feeling, mimicking a Google environment that works hard and plays hard. The renovation was designed by Phoenix’s Evolution Design Group and San Francisco-based Blitz Architecture and Design.

Throughout the process, Willmeng communicated and worked closely with Hines, the property manager at Renaissance Square, and JLL, the tenant broker. Heavily-involved Willmeng team members included Veronica Davis, project manager; Don Gleash, superintendent; Tino Hernandez, project engineer; and Ravi Pinnamareddy, project engineer intern.
